Our take
For the tableside ritual: fresh pasta flambéed with grappa in the parmesan wheel, Italian charcuterie sliced in front of you, then the bisnonna's tiramisu to finish.
Fresh pasta flambéed with grappa in a wheel of parmesan, seasonal cooking with Italian accents, in the heart of Riom.
The restaurant bears the first name of a great-grandmother born in Naples in 1890: Augustine. On the plate, that means seasonal cooking with Mediterranean and Italian flavours, 100% homemade from fresh ingredients, served in a hushed dining room in the heart of Riom.
The dish to order at least once: the pasta in the wheel (€27 in 2026). The fresh pasta, made to order, is scraped and flambéed with grappa in a wheel of parmesan, in the dining room, in front of you. For dessert, the tiramisu follows the recipe of the bisnonna (the great-grandmother, in Italian).
At lunchtime, Tuesday to Friday except public holidays, the market menu is €23 for starter, main and dessert, or €19 for two courses (2026 prices). The Augustine menu is €43 (2026). On fine summer days, there's also the terrace.
