Auvergne regional cooking: truffade (sliced potatoes with melted cheese), potée, aligot (mashed potato stretched with cheese), Salers beef, AOP (protected designation of origin) cheeses. A stone vaulted dining room, a terrace in season, a mountain-inn atmosphere. Main courses €18-26, menu around €28-35. Lunch service Wednesday to Sunday, dinner Thursday to Saturday. Check the hours before you come, they shift with the season. Booking recommended. 5 minutes from the Panoramique des Dômes and the access to the summit.

Top tip
