In the heart of Royat, Le 9 has two sides: a cool, cosy, heated terrace, and a chic, hushed dining room. At lunch, Monday to Friday, you are served a weekly set menu built on fresh, seasonal produce: €26 for the full menu, €20 for starter and main or main and dessert (2026).
In 2026, in the evening, it's boards of Spanish cured meats or seasonal vegetables, eggs mayo and locally made tourtes (pies) for the aperitif. On weekdays, the chef also puts together a seasonal à la carte menu: the October 2026 one offers sea bass cooked over the flame with Madagascar vanilla butter, or Auvergne free-range poultry with rosemary and a hay jus.
