Our take

A family-run restaurant: Sébastien in the kitchen, his wife Delphine and their daughter Tennessee on bread and desserts. On the wine side, Hugo Prats offers the food and wine pairings.

A fine-dining restaurant in Vichy, where chef Sébastien Méhaux works fresh local produce with seaweed and Japanese condiments.

Vichy has its thermal baths and its opera house, and since late 2023 a restaurant that people are talking about: La Table d'Antoine, taken over by chef Sébastien Méhaux and his whole family. A return to his roots after restaurants in the Lot and then the Finistère, and training in some fine restaurants (including Pierre Orsi in Lyon).

On the plate, refined cooking that stands by its signature: fresh, local, seasonal produce, brought to life by a real Japanese touch (seaweed, condiments). Everything is homemade, down to the bread and the desserts, the work of his wife Delphine and their daughter Tennessee.

You experience it through tasting menus, from the Tentation at €69 to the Empreinte at €169 in 2026, with optional wine or tea pairings. At weekday lunchtimes, the Initiation set menu at €39 (starter and main, or main and dessert) is a way to get to know the restaurant. Terrace in fine weather, two air-conditioned dining rooms, lunch and dinner service from Wednesday to Sunday.

Our take, honestly: inventive cooking that dares to pair land and sea, and to bring in Japanese flavours. Book, let the menus carry you along, and come hungry.
