Là-Haut is the restaurant of the Golf du Mont-Dore, on the high plateaux since 1927. You sit down facing the panorama, over a regional dish and a glass of chilled wine.
At the table, it is à la carte or set menu. Outside, a shaded terrace and a garden. Inside, a bar and a fireplace for cooler days. Dogs are accepted on the terrace, not in the dining room.
If there are several of you, the restaurant welcomes groups and hires out its rooms. Book by phone before heading up, and take the chance to have a look at the course: a par 68 laid out among century-old beeches and broom.
