A family gîte at La Tâche, a hamlet in the commune of Le Mont-Dore, 6 km from the centre of the resort. A restored former stone farmhouse, single-storey, adjoining the owners' house: 5 people, 2 bedrooms, living room with open-plan kitchen and fireplace, terrace, 125 m², and a sauna shared with the second gîte. Sheets and towels extra, one animal accepted (for a fee). Allow €820 to €1,200 a week depending on the season (2026-2027 rates), the top of the range in summer, over the festive period and in February; heating extra, and short stays possible on certain dates. Direct access to the Sancy paths: the GR 4 passes through the hamlet, and the Lac de Guéry is 2 km away.

Top tip
The end-of-year holiday weeks get booked up early: book several months ahead. A hamlet 6 km from the centre of Le Mont-Dore, a vehicle is essential.
