Bath and treatment centre in Royat, at the foot of the Puy de Dôme, in the Clermont area. Under a large wooden dome, two large pools, indoor and outdoor, in water above 30°C, with jacuzzi, hot and cold baths, two hammams, saunas and a relaxation room. For water play: bubble beds, waterfall, counter-current swimming, geyser, massage jets. The depth does not exceed 1.30 m: you don't need to be able to swim.
In 2026, the pools are supplied with mains water: since April 2025, for technical reasons, the Grottes Rouges spring, tapped near the centre, can no longer be used.
Admission from age 6, and the saunas and hammams are reserved for those aged 16 and over (permitted from age 14 with an adult). Open every day except 25 December and 1 January, with a closure for technical maintenance in September (7 to 20 September in 2026). In 2026, entry for 2 hours 30 costs €22 for an adult and €18 for ages 6 to 15. Face and body treatments are extra, by reservation.

Top tip
At weekends and during school holidays, the centre fills up: book your entry; booking is then compulsory. The standard entry lasts 2 hours 30 (in 2026: €22 adult rate, €18 for ages 6 to 15), and each half hour started beyond that is charged €6. Bring a bathrobe and flip-flops if you have them: otherwise, the bathrobe can be hired for €6 and the towel for €3.

- In 2026, late-night opening on Fridays until 21:30.
- The car park at Place Allard, below the centre, charges a fee. Buses B and 5 stop at Place Allard, 2 minutes' walk away.
- Swimsuit and towel compulsory. For men, swim briefs or swim boxers only: swim shorts are not accepted.
