A tree-lined park along the Tiretaine, in the heart of Royat's thermal quarter. Bandstand, Eugénie pump room and Gallo-Roman remains: a 19th-century atmosphere, open to all.
Royat's thermal park unrolls its shaded paths along the Tiretaine, on the edge of Clermont-Ferrand: a public park, free and open all year round, the heart of the Belle Époque spa resort. Along the way you come across the thermal establishment from the mid-19th century (partly registered as a historic monument), the Eugénie pump room and its bluish mosaics, Gallo-Roman remains, a geological trail and the casino. In 1862, the visit of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie gave the resort a new lease of life, and the Grande Source took the Empress's name. In 2026, the Eugénie pump room is no longer in service: you look at it from the park. Royat's waters, very rich in gas, feed the cures at the thermal baths for rheumatology and cardio-arterial diseases.

Top tip
In July and August 2026, the park's bandstand hosted concerts free of charge. For a swim, Royatonic and its indoor and outdoor pools are on the same avenue.
