A table that marries Italian pasta and Auvergne classics, with a menu that clearly marks what is homemade. All in La Bourboule, close to the thermal baths.

At XXème Siècle, the menu speaks two languages: Italian and Auvergnat. On one side, tagliatelle bolognese, lasagne, carbonara and tiramisu. On the other, truffade (sliced potatoes with melted cheese) with country ham, tartiflette with saint-nectaire and gnocchi with Auvergne cheeses.
The kitchen cooks turn-of-the-century recipes, prepared the way grandmothers used to, in a retro atmosphere. On the 2026 menu, dishes marked F are homemade, made on site from raw ingredients.
Allow €16 to €21 a dish in 2026. And keep room for the waffle with Sancy honey.

Top tip
The fondue with Auvergne cheeses (minimum 2 people, €20 a plate in 2026) must be ordered the day before at the latest: ask for it when you book your table.

- Fondue, lasagne, tartiflette, baked chicken and salmon, tiramisu: pre-order them the day before at the latest (2026 menu).
- Children's dish at €9 in 2026: pasta with butter or tagliatelle bolognese.
- Dogs accepted on the terrace only, not in the dining room.
- The wine cellar is open during restaurant hours: bottles from Auvergne and Italy to give or to enjoy, with a cellar price lower than the price at the table (2026 menu).
