In Laschamps, a hamlet of Saint-Genès-Champanelle at 1,000 m altitude, Ô Balcons des Volcans brings together two charming gîtes rated 4 stars. They are not adjoining: each keeps its privacy, with the Puy de Dôme in view.
Two formats depending on your crowd. The Amphithéâtre des Volcans thinks big, 250 m² and sleeping up to 14, for big gatherings round the table. La Loge des Volcans is more intimate, 59 m² for 6 people.
Scandinavian feel inside, jacuzzi outside. The garden leaves nobody bored: trampoline, table tennis, basketball hoop, slackline, swings, a hut, a hammock and a barbecue for summer evenings.
You are in the Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne (Volcans d'Auvergne Regional Nature Park), with waymarked paths setting off from here. Around you, caves, medieval castles and villages to see on the way back down.
