Camping Yelloh Village Le Pré Bas

Le Pré Bas is the campsite right on the shore of Lac Chambon, at the foot of the Sancy. A five-star Yelloh Village, made for family holidays: you park the car and, for a week, everything is done on foot, between the beach and the water park.

For accommodation, 116 rentals (mobile homes, cottages, some with a private spa) and 64 pitches for tents and motorhomes. On the pool side: a covered, heated pool, slides, a paddling pool, whirlpool baths, and since 2024 an outdoor swimming pool of 200 m². A kids' club, entertainment, a restaurant with panoramic terrace, a bar and a grocery shop complete the picture.

The campsite's big asset is direct access to the lake: beach, supervised swimming in July and August, in a lake that is only 6 metres deep. The Château de Murol is less than five minutes away by car, and a long-distance hiking trail passes less than a kilometre away.

Our take, frankly: it's the kind of place where you settle in for a week without moving, perfect with children. Open from late April to mid-September (from 23 April to 12 September in 2027), with gîtes to rent all year. Pets accepted, for a supplement. For July and August, book several months ahead.
