Le QG is two escape rooms in the centre of Riom, on Place Jean-Baptiste Laurent. The first, La Tranchée, plunges you into a 1914-1918 setting. The second, Plan Épervier, puts you in the shoes of a team sent after a fugitive. In both, you have 60 minutes to complete the mission. You play 2 to 6 per room, so it works for a pair as well as for a gang of friends. With a rating that is close to flawless on more than 200 reviews, it's a safe bet locally when you want an indoor outing.

Top tip
There are only two rooms, so book online in advance, especially at weekends and during the school holidays, when Le QG is open 7 days a week.
