Ski resort linked to Le Mont-Dore via the Sancy. On the Super-Besse side: 32 pistes, ride up on the Perdrix cable car, then the summit of the Sancy (1,885 m) is reached on foot along the ridges. Ski area that links up with Le Mont-Dore (85 km of pistes in total). Adult day lift pass €42.70, 6 days €231.60 (2025-2026 prices). Mid-December to the end of March depending on snow cover. Lively base area, ESF ski school, equipment hire.

Top tip
Access to Le Mont-Dore's pistes is included in your lift pass when the link is open. The walk round Lac Pavin is worth the detour even in winter. Stay on the path, never on the ice. Mountain restaurants are packed at lunchtime.
