Our take
Market cooking, with a €25 lunch menu in 2026. And a spot right by the Issoire Sud exit, handy when you're driving the A75.
A bistronomic restaurant on the roundabout at the Issoire Sud exit: market cooking, meats cooked over charcoal and desserts by a pastry chef.
If you leave the A75 at Issoire Sud, L'Agastache is on the roundabout just after the exit. It's the bistronomic restaurant of Dorian Van Bronkhorst, chef of the Atelier Yssoirien, and his wife Muriel. In the kitchen, Jérémy Floret. On desserts, Lou, pastry chef.
Here, the menu starts from a market basket that changes week by week, with regional producers. Long, low-temperature cooking, meats roasted over charcoal, a dining room with Scandinavian decor. On the cheese side: cantal, salers, saint-nectaire, bleu d'Auvergne and fourme d'Ambert. It is listed in the Michelin Guide selection.
We'd recommend the set lunch menu: €25 for starter, main and dessert in 2026, Tuesday to Friday. The choice menu at €40 (2026) lets you pick from 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts. Closed Sunday, Monday and Thursday evening (2026 opening times).

- Five Auvergne cheeses on the menu
- Terrace and access for people with reduced mobility
Top tip
Keep room for dessert: the sweet plates are the work of Lou, the pastry chef. You can book the restaurant online from its website.
