L'Arôme Antique is a house with character in the medieval town of Murat. A bistronomic restaurant where chef Michaël cooks the Cantal terroir: seasonal produce, producers from the surrounding area, and a menu that moves with the seasons and the market.
The cheese board comes from the farms around Murat, naturally. Generous food, prepared without any fuss.
The cellar goes all in on the region: Auvergne wines from independent winemakers, owner-growers, plus other regions of France and local spirits. You can taste on site or leave with a bottle from the shop.
Want to stay on? The house also has its own gîtes, so you can sleep on site.
