In the Aspre valley, the Pissa del Coin drops 15 metres in one go: a wide waterfall with a strong flow, hidden in the woods above the hamlet of La Bastide, in the commune of Le Fau.
To get there, park at La Bastide and follow the GR400, which climbs gently towards Peyre del Cros. A small sign on the left points to the waterfall: allow another 700 metres or so on a woodland path waymarked in yellow.
Come after a few days of rain or at snowmelt, that's when the falls give their all. Wear good shoes, the undergrowth holds the damp.
