Cascade des Veyrines

You are on the Cézallier plateau, a stone's throw from Landeyrat. The Veyrines stream falls as a waterfall in the middle of the summer pastures: fields, a gate to go through, Salers cattle and their bells all around you.

From Allanche, head towards Marcenat, then turn left towards Landeyrat after the buron des Estives (a herders' hut in the summer pastures). Park as soon as you can, walk back a few metres, go through the gate and cross the pasture to the waterfall. Open and free access, all year round if the weather allows.

Come preferably in spring or after good rain, when the stream is flowing well.
