History museum on place de Beaulieu in Chamalières (a suburb of Clermont-Ferrand), run by Clermont Auvergne Métropole. Collections on the Resistance in Auvergne during the Second World War, the maquis (rural Resistance groups), the occupation, the deportation. Period documents, recorded testimonies, personal belongings of Resistance fighters. Educational route adapted for school groups. Free under 18. Open Tuesday to Saturday, from 14:00 to 18:00. Closed on Sunday, Monday and public holidays.
