Maison Albert Londres

Museum and study centre dedicated to the journalist Albert Londres (1884-1932), born in Vichy. Housed in the star reporter's birthplace on Rue Besse. Collections of personal objects, manuscripts, photos, first editions of his books (“Au bagne”, “Marseille porte du sud”). The Albert Londres Prize, created in 1932 and awarded for the first time the following year, still honours the best French-speaking reporters in the field every year, wherever in the world they work. The museum is open every day from 15:00 to 18:00 until 28 November 2026, for the length of the current exhibition. After that, hours and prices change, so check before you drop by.
