Right in the heart of Charroux, one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France (the Most Beautiful Villages of France), on the Grande Rue: a restored house from the 13th to 18th centuries. Five rooms, two of them under an old timber frame, and one of them set in a former medieval fortification tower.
The table d'hôtes (the evening meal at the hosts' table) has to be booked at least a week before your stay. In 2026, it's served in the evening, except Saturday: home cooking with local produce, €30 per person, €15 for children under 10.
In 2026, the house takes guests from 1 January to 20 December.

Top tip
Book the table d'hôtes at least a week before your stay. You're in the village: the Cour des Dames, the church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste and the mustard maker are a few steps from the door.
