Unusual accommodation in Cesset, near Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule. A night that really makes a change.
In Cesset, near Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule, in the Allier, two solidly built transparent bubbles, each on its own plot, not overlooked by anyone. You mostly come as a couple.
Une Parenthèse Enchantée, for two people, is set in an old limestone quarry, on nearly 3,000 m². Three dwarf goats are regulars there and two electric bikes await you. Le Repère du Bûcheron sleeps up to four on more than 4,000 m² of wooded grounds, with a covered terrace, pool table and table football.
Each bubble has its own private Nordic bath, heated and sheltered, as often as you like, its own bathroom and fitted kitchen. A pellet stove heats the whole thing: it's open all year. Breakfast is included, left in a hatch so nobody disturbs you. No wifi, and that's deliberate.
In 2026, a night starts at €279 for the Parenthèse and €299 for the Repère.

Top tip
Weekends and school holidays are often fully booked several weeks ahead: book early. For dinner, raclette, sharing boards and homemade menus can be ordered as an option and are delivered to the bubble.
