Three yurts set between meadows and forests in the Montagne Bourbonnaise, at Laprugne, with a breakfast of local produce on request.
Yurt accommodation at Laprugne (Allier, Montagne Bourbonnaise), at the locality called L'Echenau. Three yurts of 19 m² (Fuschia, Marguerite, Coquelicot), each for 2 to 4 people, with gas heating and dry toilets inside. Each yurt has its own private bathroom, locked with a key, a few tens of metres away, and an equipped shared kitchenette is available. Meadows and forests all around. The Puy de Montoncel (1,287 m, the highest point of the Montagne Bourbonnaise) is reached from the Col de la Charme or the Col des Planchettes. In 2026, allow €80 a night for two, €95 for three and €105 for four, beds made and towels included. Arrival generally between 16:00 and 18:00.

Top tip
July and August are high season: book early. Combine it with a climb up the Puy de Montoncel. For the evening, book Tante Lila's dinner (starter, charcuterie, cheese, dessert, €20 per person in 2026), or cook in the shared kitchenette.
