On the banks of the Allier at Pont-du-Château, the Auberge du Pont is the local starred table. Rodolphe Regnauld, a Breton who settled here in 2005 with Christelle, won a Michelin star there in 2021, and the restaurant still displays it. His cooking blends his home region and Auvergne, following the seasons and the local producers. A fine wine cellar, a pleasant setting on the river side, a family-style welcome, easy parking. It's the kind of table where you take your time, for a meal that matters.
