The St-Aventin chapel

From the town hall of Beauregard-l'Évêque, facing the start sign, set off to the left. Turn right onto the Rue de l'École, then left onto the Rue du Château. Fork left again onto the Rue du Sauplant as far as the Grand-Rue. Turn right to the Place de l'Église. Then take the Rue de la Poste on the right. At the junction, turn left, then right at the crossroads. Turn right again onto the Rue Sous le Château. After 30 m, take the parallel street higher up on the left (château). Keep right as far as the belvedere cross (view of the Courcourt tower, the Limagne plain, the Chaîne des Puys).

(1) Go down the grassy path to the road and follow it to the left. At the T-junction, leave the village to the right. Turn right at the first crossing, left at the second. Go down towards the Jauron stream. Cross the bridge and carry straight on. Go through the Saint-Pardoux farm estate (building with turrets). Leave the road and climb the first path on the right to a T-junction.

(2) Turn right (view of the Allier) and keep going straight on (Saint-Aventin chapel). Cross the stream again. Go on to the second path on the left and take it. Carry straight on. At the crossing on the bank of the Allier, go right into the wood. At the fork, take the right. After 50 m, at the T-junction, turn right and climb back towards the edge of the wood. Continue to the crossing.

(3) Then climb to the left. After 50 m, turn right onto the grassy path that leads to the road. Climb back up to the left into the village. At the fork, take the Chemin de Chantagret on the right towards the stadium. Go round it on the left. At the crossroads with the Grand-Rue, return to the starting point by the right.
