The Château de Codignat is a château-hotel set in its park, between forests and volcanoes, above the village of Bort-l'Étang. You are deep in the Puy-de-Dôme countryside, where it's quiet.
The rooms and suites occupy the old parts of the château: medieval towers, four-poster beds, views over the Auvergne countryside. In the park, a separate chalet adds two bedrooms and a lounge, good for a family stay.
On the dining side, La Tour du Château serves fine dining. In the park, you can play pétanque, and borrow a bike from reception.
Private car park, animals accepted on request.
