The footbridge is suspended about 80 metres above the Lignon du Velay, over a length of 268 metres. It moves a little as you cross, but all its cables limit the movement. The first step is impressive, and that is the whole point. A viewpoint, overhanging the gorges by 7 metres, also gives a view of the footbridge.
You can only get there on foot, by a path of medium difficulty, and you come back the same way: about 2.5 km from the Villedemont car park, on the Grazac side, or 3 km from the Château de Maubourg car park, on the Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon side.
Access is open to all and free all year round. Dogs are accepted on a lead, but some are afraid of the drop once on the footbridge.

Before you go
