Family restaurant and pizzeria in the lower town of Saint-Flour: Aubrac-breed beef, aligot, truffade, an all-you-can-eat buffet at lunchtime in 2026 and a south-facing terrace.
In the lower town of Saint-Flour, on place Odilon de Mercœur, L'Espace Gourmand is a family business: Fabienne, Sébastien and their children. A restaurant and a pizzeria in one, with specialities served on boards, pasta, salads and regional dishes.
On the regional side, the entrecôte and the beef steak are Aubrac breed, and the regional menu lines up charcuterie, tripoux (a tripe dish) or sausage, aligot (mashed potato stretched with cheese) or truffade (sliced potatoes with melted cheese), then a cheese platter. The detail that makes you smile: the Morganette pizza, topped with tripoux, potatoes and cantal cheese. Dishes come with homemade chips and a salad.
In 2026, at lunchtime, the set menus revolve around a giant all-you-can-eat buffet. In summer, we recommend the large south-facing terrace. And if you'd rather eat elsewhere, the restaurant also does takeaway: pizzas are ordered by telephone.
