Lioran Aventure

Treetop adventure park at the Prairie des Sagnes in Laveissière (near the Le Lioran resort, Cantal). Nine courses from 1 to 25 m in height, from the most accessible to the most demanding, with a minimum climber height for each course (1.00 m, 1.10 m, 1.20 m, then 1.30 m). Zip lines, monkey bridges and Tarzan jumps across 2 hectares of forest. You stay clipped on the whole time: Clic-it carabiners on the big courses, a continuous lifeline on the smallest ones. Equipment provided, briefing compulsory, under-15s accompanied by an adult. Expect €10 to €22 per person depending on the course and age. Open at weekends in June, then every day during the summer holidays. Afternoon sessions from 13:30, depending on the weather; in the morning, by booking for groups of 10 or more. Outside these periods, call the park before you come. Allow 3 hours for the activity, and bring cash, cheques or holiday vouchers: no card payments.
