On the slopes of the Plomb du Cantal (1,855 m), Auvergne's main ski resort: nearly 60 km of alpine slopes (43 runs), 17 ski lifts, and a Nordic area with cross-country ski tracks and snowshoe trails. For the 2026-2027 season, the alpine ski area is open from 19 December 2026 to 21 March 2027, with a possible pre-opening on December weekends depending on snow cover. Adult day pass: €42.90 for the 2026-2027 season. Rental shops at the foot of the slopes, ESF (the French ski school) and a beginners' area for families.
