Our take

Going electric changes everything: no fumes, no helmet that stinks of petrol, and sharp acceleration as soon as you touch the pedal. The smooth concrete for drifting is just as much fun at 8 as at 40.

100% electric indoor karting, on a 4,600 m² track with smooth concrete to try your hand at drifting: a safe bet in Clermont, rain or shine.

Speed2Max is 100% electric karting, under cover, on a 4,600 m² indoor track. It combines two surfaces: grippy asphalt for clean driving, and smooth concrete for trying out drifting. The karts are electric, quiet, made in France, and open from age 7 and 1.40 m tall, with paddles on the steering wheel that also make them accessible to people with reduced mobility. You come for a taster session, to string together timed runs, or for a birthday, a hen party or an after-work get-together with colleagues. On site, a bar and a terrace, handy for catching your breath between two runs. It is on the east side of the city, on Avenue Jean Mermoz, in the Brézet industrial estate, with free parking.

Why we love it

  • 4,600 m² indoor track, 100% electric karting
  • Two surfaces: grippy asphalt and concrete for drifting
  • Karts open from age 7 and 1.40 m tall, and to people with reduced mobility
  • A bar and a terrace to catch your breath between runs

Top tip

Don't take just one run: the first is spent working out the racing lines, the real fun comes with the second. The Hédonisme package, three runs with the fourth free, brings the price per run down noticeably.

Before you go

  • In the evening from Wednesday to Saturday, or on a rainy day
  • Book online, especially for Friday and Saturday evenings and weekends.
  • East of Clermont, on Avenue Jean Mermoz, in the Brézet industrial estate. Free parking on site.
  • In 2026, the 8-minute run (Découverte package) is €15 for an adult, €14 for a teenager, €13 for a child. Two runs (Perfectionnement): €28 adult, €26 teenager, €24 child. Three runs with a fourth free (Hédonisme): €45 adult, €42 teenager, €39 child.
  • The karts are open from age 7, as long as children are 1.40 m tall to take the wheel. Children have their own price.
  • Book your slot online, especially at weekends and in the evening.
  • For children, you need to be at least 1.40 m tall to take the wheel.
  • Take at least two runs: you only really let go in the second.
