Mezia has its shop at 4 rue des Tables, at the foot of Notre-Dame cathedral in Le Puy. Behind the company is Rémi Montagne: he won the Gelato World Cup in Rimini with the French team, and until 2022 he was pastry chef at Valrhona. The ice creams come out of the company's two workshops, in Ardèche and in Haute-Loire, with no added flavouring, colouring, preservatives or sweeteners. The company works with local producers, and it shows in the flavours: Ardèche AOP (protected designation of origin) chestnut ice cream, Monts du Velay strawberry sorbet or Velay verbena sorbet.
