Gîtes, a studio and a yurt in Mazaye, at the foot of the Puys: the Boucle des Dômes passes ten minutes away on foot, home-cooked dinner with local produce from April to October.
Five gîtes and yurts in a wooded park at the foot of the Chaîne des Puys, ten minutes from Vulcania.
Here you have a choice: five gîtes for 2 to 6 people (three studios and two T3s, i.e. three-room flats), or three 20 m² yurts for 2 to 4, heated by a pellet stove, with shared washrooms right next door. All in a wooded park of 4,000 m², with a 50-seat shared room for groups. The site can sleep up to 33 people in all.
You are at the foot of the Chaîne des Puys, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Vulcania is about ten minutes away by car, the Panoramique des Dômes a quarter of an hour. All around, plenty to fill your days: walks, lakes, caves, museums and villages.
Two details we like: from April to October, the place offers full board and half board with a home-cooked dinner (from November to March, regional dishes in jars take over), and it rents out all-terrain electric scooters, from age 14, to explore the area without the car.
The five units and the shared room all carry the Tourisme & Handicap label: the site can host up to ten people with reduced mobility at a time.

Top tip
Coming on horseback or with a donkey? The fenced meadow welcomes them (grazing is charged for), and dogs and cats stay at no extra charge. Arrival from 16:00: if you arrive early, you can make use of the enclosed grounds and the covered area with garden furniture. As for connectivity, the wifi only reaches the shared room.
Before you go
- Booking required. Arrival from 16:00, departure before 10:00. For a group, the site can be booked for private use: up to 33 people accommodated and a shared room with 50 seats.
- In 2026: €90 a night for two in a studio or a yurt, €180 for the T3 for four, €30 per extra person. Half board €30 and full board €39 a day for ages 10 and over. Tourist tax is extra.
