La Pointe du Jour

Start at the leisure centre. Go up towards Cunlhat and take the first road on the left. When you reach the D225, turn left. 100 m further on, leave the road and take a path that goes down on the right and then climbs back up to the route du Coin.

(1) Follow the path that climbs opposite. At the house, take the road on the right.

(2) At the fork, bear right again. You enter woodland after La Guillaumie.

(3) At Le Verdier, go past the manor house. Continue for 500 m and turn left onto a small tarmac road.

(4) Cross the D997, take the direction of Ischamp opposite and take the first path on the right for about 400 m. Take a path on the right through the trees.

(5) At the entrance to the hamlet of Le Fayet, bear left. Go through the village, where the road becomes a track. Continue straight ahead on the main track as far as the D997. Cross it opposite to take the direction of Pradelles.

(6) In the centre of the village of Pradelles, bear onto the path on the right. The path goes through a farm and enters woodland. At the intersection of 4 paths, take the path on the left. At the road, bear right again (view of the Monts du Forez)

(7) At Boscène, go down the path below on the left. Cross the Mende stream and climb back up to the D65. Cross the road to continue on a path climbing opposite, slightly to the right.

(8) A few metres before the well and the stone trough, go down a narrow path on the right, cross the D65 again and continue opposite. At the fork, take a sunken lane climbing on the left. At the esplanade, in the hamlet of Le Coin, go down the road on the left: you pass a house dating from 1839, before reaching point 1, then the start by the outward route.
