The route in detail

Start: In front of the restaurant at the lake, go back up the D105 on the left to move away from the village for 400 m. Cross the Pissoux stream and take the 1st road on your left.

1. Continue along the path on the right to reach Le Sardier. Skirt the hamlet and carry straight on to Bouffoux. Ignore the paths going down and climb to the fountain.

2. Leave the hamlet by the track that leads away above the granite troughs. At the crossing of four tracks, go back down to Le Mas du Bost on the left.

3. At the entrance to the hamlet, turn right to climb back up a sunken lane. You soon reach a Y-junction: continue on the left through the woods. After 300 m, a new junction appears in the heart of the forest. Go down on the left.

4. At the stream, turn left to reach the information panels. Go round the wooded motte to rejoin the path. Cross another stream and continue along the path, ignoring the path that goes down on the left. Go past a drinking-water reservoir and rejoin Les Faïdides on the left.

5. Go down through the hamlet. Leave it by the road to the left of the fountain. Follow this road to return to the starting point.
