Brevet des Quatre Vents (road circuit no. 14)

This circuit is one of the shortest ones to ride as a star-shaped route from the National Cyclotourism Centre. It has the advantage of using many very quiet little roads. However, you will need to follow the description closely so as not to go astray. Finally, the stretch of road after Néronde calls for the greatest caution, especially when leaving the D906 by turning left.

The feel of the route
This "touristic" brevet is offered by the Fédération Française de Cyclotourisme. You can buy the route card at the reception of the national centre, which will validate it for you when you return. The rules of the game are simple: prove by stamp or photo that you have passed through 4 communes whose names begin with N, E, S and O (Nord, Est, Sud, Ouest), to recall the cardinal points found on the compass rose. Each validated brevet earns 3 points for your club in the Challenge de France. It can be done over several days but must finish at the 4 Vents National Centre.
