A waterfall of nearly 20 metres in the forest, at an altitude of 1,000 m above the Ance valley. An hour there and back from the car park.

A drop of nearly 20 metres that tumbles down the rock in the middle of the forest, at an altitude of 1,000 metres. The Creux de l'Oulette sits on the far edge of the Puy-de-Dôme, between Saillant and La Chaulme, above the Ance valley.

From the car park, allow 15 to 20 minutes' walk on a sloping path. Wear good shoes; a walking stick can help. The round trip takes about an hour.

Walkers can also get there by the Creux de l'Oulette loop: about 12 km from Saillant, waymarked in yellow, with the basalt columns of the Montpeloux volcano as a bonus. In rain or snow, take care: you always reach the site from below.
