Our take
The bar that pulls Vichy out of its granny-style spa-town image. Well-crafted cocktails, a lively terrace, and a bill that stays easy on the wallet.
Vichy's cocktail bar on Rue de Banville: house cocktail menu, draught beers and a DJ some evenings.
A cocktail bar in the centre of Vichy, on Rue de Banville, 5 minutes from the Parc des Sources. House cocktail menu, draught beers, modern bistro atmosphere with a terrace in season. Live concerts or DJs some evenings. Mostly young and student, but a mixed crowd. Open every evening except Monday and Tuesday, until 01:00-02:00 depending on how busy it is. Expect €9-12 for a cocktail, €5-7 for a draught beer.
Why we love it
- House cocktails, made in a shaker
- DJ sets that get the evening going
- Open late, until 01:00-02:00 depending on the evening
- 5 minutes' walk from the Parc des Sources
Top tip
Happy hour often until 20:00, ask for the current menu. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings are lively, Wednesday and Sunday quieter. Book the terrace in summer when it's very hot.
