The fords of Le Cros (circuit no. 6)

A short waymarked loop around the Bois de la Plaine, with a very fine view of the Château de Vollore, once owned by the famous General de La Fayette, whose descendants still live in the château and offer visits in summer (or by reservation the rest of the year for groups). Further on, the circuit crosses 3 fords before climbing back up to the Quatre Vents plateau.
