64 - Le Gournier

Start: Saint-Romain-Lachalm

A village at the gateway to the Haut Pays du Velay, offering an open panorama over the Monts du Forez. Round a bend in a forest you can also take in viewpoints over the volcanic Monts of Haute-Loire.

The warm-up over the first 5 kilometres is easy, then you let yourself glide down to Dunières (km 9). The second part is a bit more technical and hillier up to km 18, before you can finally head down to the finish.

A maximum of laughs on a rail bike!

This is an experience to have at least once in your life, with laughs and thrills guaranteed for an unforgettable adventure. Off you go for an out-of-the-ordinary experience in wild nature with great northern-style forests. You will cross two viaducts and have a beautiful panorama over Dunières. The moment of adrenaline and laughter comes on the descents and in the tunnels. * 2 routes to choose from, 16 or 8 km.
