Discovering the Craponne-sur-Arzon district, north of the Le Puy-en-Velay urban area, the route is accessible to all riders, taking in the plateaux around Saint-Georges-Lagricol, Jullianges and its famous racecourse, Beaune-sur-Arzon and also Saint-Victor sur Arlanc.

The feel of the route
The historic centre of Craponne-sur-Arzon
The commune of Craponne-sur-Arzon sits on a granite plateau at the northern tip of the Velay. Its old centre dates from the Middle Ages. From that period survive the gate tower, called the Donjon, and two 16th-century towers (the Pasturel and Marchédial towers).
The heart of the town beats every year to the rhythm of its Country music festival, which welcomes an audience from all over the world in July.
In October, the traditional Potato Festival (la Trifolà) brings together thousands of visitors for a gourmet, festive event.
