An outdoor kart track with a really technical layout is rarer and livelier than an indoor loop. The three kart power levels mean everyone can get on the track, from the 7-year-old to the driver who wants something with more bite.

Kart Sensation is the outdoor kart track set along the D2089 in Bourg-Lastic, in the far west of the Puy-de-Dôme. The track is technical, with bends that ask for a bit of real driving, not just a flat-out loop. As for the machines, these are SODIKART SR5 270cc karts in three power levels (11, 9 and 7 hp) depending on your build and your level. Children drive from age 7 and 1.30 m, so it really works for families. You choose the sprint format for a short race, or endurance to drive for longer as a group. Access is by booking. You can also book the whole place for a birthday or a group outing, with a room on site.
