A sailing school on the Lac de Saint-Étienne-Cantalès, based on the Puech des Ouilhes peninsula, at Lacapelle-Viescamp. The club is an association affiliated to the Fédération française de voile, with its École française de voile structure.
Two ways to enjoy it. You learn: 3 to 5-day courses for children and teenagers (from age 4 for the youngest, on the Optimist dinghy from age 6), private lessons, supervised sessions for adults. Or you hire: pedalo, canoe, kayak, paddleboard, windsurfer, dinghy, catamaran, cabin sailing boat and motor boat.
The instructors are there from May to September. Summer 2026 hours: hire every day from 10:00 to 19:00 in July and August, with reception closed between 12:30 and 13:30.

Top tip
In 2026, children's courses last 3 to 5 days, in the morning or the afternoon depending on age. 9 to 17-year-olds can stay for the day, from 10:00 to 16:30, with a picnic on site. The Puech des Ouilhes beach is right next door for the rest of the family.
Before you go
- Hire, 2026 season: paddleboard €8 for half an hour or €12 for an hour, single canoe €9 an hour, pedalo (up to 5 people) €15 an hour, windsurfer €15 an hour, catamaran €24 an hour. Motor boat from €45 to €60 an hour depending on the model, with an €800 pre-authorisation on a bank card.
- Hire in July and August 2026: every day from 10:00 to 19:00, with reception closed between 12:30 and 13:30. The club welcomes the public from May to September: in May, June and September, call to find out the slots.
- Bring a cap, shoes that can go in the water and a windproof jacket. The club provides life jackets and can lend a shorty wetsuit.
- Courses of 4 or 5 sessions are booked online, other lengths at the club's reception. Hire can also be booked online.
