Your exploration logbook

How it works

Every place you visit goes into your logbook and earns you metres. Not abstract points: metres of altitude, because here you climb a whole region. Your progress follows Auvergne's real summits, from the first step to the Puy de Sancy.

The summits to climb

Each level costs the real altitude of the summit. It's 11,789 m to the Sancy: take your time, it isn't going anywhere.

The scale, in full

Nothing hidden: here's exactly what each action earns, and its limits.

Out and about

The heart of the game: visiting for real. That's where the metres come in.

The safeguards

  • 150 m per day, 600 m per week maximum. The logbook rewards regularity, not a one-Sunday marathon.
  • Confirmed or self-declared, your call. A confirmed check-in (you're on site) earns more than a visit declared on trust. Both count, and they show up differently in your logbook.
  • One visit per place per month. Going back to Lac Pavin every morning won't make it any more explored.
  • On-screen actions are capped at 15 m a day. The game wants you outdoors.

Your location stays yours

For a confirmed check-in, your location is used once, server-side, to check that you're within 500 m of the place. It is never stored, never logged, never shared. Your logbook only keeps the place and the day.

What we'll never do

  • Sell metres, levels or progress.
  • Paid random rewards, in any form whatsoever.
  • Make you feel guilty: missing a week never wipes out what you've built.
  • Reissue a dated collectible: what's rare stays rare.
